Understand long threads
A visual map shows how a conversation split and where each path went.
Tree map turns branched ChatGPT conversations into a visual map. See the current path, alternate paths, branch points, and related messages without rereading the entire thread. You can create branches, submit prompts from the map, and download the map as a PNG.
Superpower is designed for people who use ChatGPT repeatedly for real work. This feature keeps the output, context, and workflow easier to find, reuse, and share when the next task arrives.

Create branches without losing the original direction of the chat.
Export the map when you need to document or explain a long thread.
Practical guide
When a writing conversation contains several alternate drafts, open its tree map from the bottom-right toolbar. Fit the map to view, inspect where the drafts diverge, and switch to the branch you want to continue. Create another branch when you want to explore a different direction.
The map represents a conversation and its available branches, not every chat in your account. A downloaded PNG captures the visual structure; use text export as well when you need searchable or editable content.
If the canvas looks empty or a branch seems missing, use fit to view and check that you opened the intended conversation. Zoom in to inspect message cards, and verify the active branch before submitting a follow-up prompt.
