This update improves performance, fixes long-prompt editing and insertion, and makes conversation loading, search, folders, and image sharing more reliable.

Performance and reliability

• Reduced unnecessary background work while typing and switching between conversations.
• Fixed observers accumulating after chat navigation, which could contribute to increasing slowdowns.
• Improved conversation loading and sending so extension processing and malformed saved settings do not interrupt ChatGPT's native requests.
• Improved synchronization during outages, authentication errors, and rate limits. Temporarily unavailable conversations are no longer treated as deleted without an explicit deletion response.

Long prompts and variables

• Fixed freezes and long delays when inserting large prompts, including HTML and CSS with many braces.
• Fixed variable values not being applied before insertion. Variables now resolve before the prompt reaches the input.
• Preserved HTML, code, line breaks, and literal special characters during insertion, without treating prompt content as rendered HTML.
• Added support for ChatGPT's native pasted-text attachments when large prompts are automatically converted into attachments.
• Improved prompt-chain handling so steps wait for insertion to finish before continuing.
• Greatly reduced long-prompt editor loading time. Full steps are now available immediately, without a delayed replacement that could overwrite early edits.
• Added immediate loading feedback when opening the prompt editor, including the prompt name, a spinner, and Cancel. Repeated clicks no longer create duplicate editors, and canceled requests do not reopen later.
• Added clearer recovery when a prompt cannot be loaded.

Conversations, folders, and search

• Fixed “Start a new chat in this folder” so new conversations are assigned to the selected folder.
• Fixed conversation and folder searches containing special characters.
• Preserved existing matches while expanding a search, including when an expanded search returns no additional results or encounters an error.
• Improved search recovery and prevented outdated responses from replacing the results for a newer search or folder selection.
• Fixed saved highlights scrolling to the top of a message instead of bringing the highlighted passage into view.

Interface fixes

• Fixed off-center extension dialogs across review requests, sharing, gallery actions, folder management, and other popups.
